The most cost effective and safest way to carry your surf board or sup, is on a good set of roof racks using robust surf board pads and easy to use tie-downs to mount and secure them. Ideally your boards should be in bags for additional protection. We don’t recommend carrying an inflated SUP on your roof-top, unless you’re travelling a short distance at very low speed, as damage to both your inflatable SUP structure, and your roof racks can result.
Although a costly accessory, where security is a major concern the lockable Thule SUP taxi is your solution.
